I got over 6% off, but that's 'cause I'm that good.

Looks like they are moving up delivery dates up by a week on the 6 speed. My order is now showing:
Build date: week ending 5/22/2015
Scheduled Delivery date: 7/10/2015

Awesome, hope it's not just your car, but production wide.
Will check with my $ealership to see if there's an update.

Currently being told that the last date to make changes is June 9th.
Don't have a production week/date yet.

My last change date was April 28. Assuming similar lead times, your production could be at the beginning of July with a mid-August delivery (maybe sooner).

I think that's about right. But he should be able to get a build date about now from the dealer.

Yeah, it was there for two weeks and they trucked it directly to the dealer. Love the car. Finally figured out all the nav and audio quirks after about 4 days. Getting it filmed next Wed. IPad pics in sticky at the top.

So what's the verdict on the '16 In control system. Do you have any Remote apps - that let you check the status of your car or even remote start it?

Also would love to see your interior .... cheers.

I got a base Glacier White/Full Red scheduled for August, last I heard. All I want from the S is a tune and LSD, and that's easy to take care of for a lot less than $15K.

You know you can get the LSD by choosing the Super Performance Brake Package for $ 1450. (also includes Torque Vector braking).

No, Canada is considered a third world country and MY2016 here isn't getting the Remote/Secure/Protect. I do have InControl Apps and there's a second USB port in the cubby for that. But I haven't tried any yet. They're pretty lame.

My interior is all black leather with red stitching. Didn't get the red seatbelts as dirt shows where you grab the belt and also the colour doesn't match.

I don't believe the Super Performance Brake Pkg is available on the base V6.

The Jaguar website does not show it as an option for the base model. The S comes with a limited slip differential, with torque vectoring by braking added with the Super Performance Braking Pack. I'm not sure why the Braking Pack shows Limited Slip+TVB but suspect it's the electronic LSD instead of a mechanical one. The marketing literature is light on details.

I ordered the 6-speed S with the Brake Pack, but mostly because I like bigger brakes. I've done brake upgrades on my last two cars, and figured that I'd have it built that way, this time around.

I believe you are absolutely correct. The torque vectoring, I think, can only be accomplished if there is a computer controllable LSD. I personally would prefer a mechanical LSD, but will take the electronic LSD to get the bigger brakes.

The older accessories PDF shows the brake package as being sold separately, and Barratt has it listed. T2R9304 & T2R9305. But they also have the Red calipers listed separately. T2R9300-T2R9303. For anyone interested.

This would be decent option if you already have the car, but at $1450, the factory option is a better bet than the $3145 plus installation post-production plus installation cost. (even if you do it yourself)
