Fantastic! I'm very happy for you.

Now don't forget that you promised me a test drive. I've owned so many manuals, I'll know immediately if it feels right to me. I promise I'll be very good and respectful of it's newness.

You sure you don't want to wait for the tune/pulley to go on it? Then we can both go up in a blaze of glory!

No! I definitely do not want to wait until then. I want to drive it before it blows up.

I'm sure we'll get a detailed review from lhoboy when he gets his car.
It's kinda fitting that he get's to be the first 6 sp ....

(still waiting for a VIN...)

I'm assuming you've asked Foosh to retask the satellites so you can keep an eye on the Atlantic Cartier 24/7. Also, don't forget the fireboat welcome into Baltimore harbor.

I will be as objective as possible with the review. (that will be difficult)

Foosh is on top of it, and I will be on that fireboat when it welcomes the AC into port.

Here's a satellite photo (old) of the car staging lot next to where the Atlantic Cartier is docked in Liverpool. It looks like the right lane is all F-Types. (Can you tell I'm getting excited?)

Default TheSmokingTire's F-Type V6S Manual Transmission Quick Review

Hello everyone,

New here, currently drive a 2012 Mustang GT and live in Northern Virginia.
I'm absolutely in love with the F-type but am not an owner yet due to pricing and income reasons

I have been eagerly waiting for the manual transmission version of this car and noticed that many others on here have as well.

Well, anyhow I recently found a great video by Matt Farah that I saw hadn't been posted on this forum yet which solidified my reasoning that this car desperately needed a manual transmission. Thought I'd share with you guys:

Hope to join you fellows one day when I become an owner!

Those of you who want a short-cut to track the journey of what will probably be one of the first V6S Manuals driven, you can go here

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...225121dfbeffc8

Good luck to Atlantic Cartier, and may she bring lhoboy's prize safely to port.

For the truly off-balance, I have found a site that can give you rail time tables to Southampton Eastern Docks. From the looks of things, the train from Castle Bromwich shows up in the mornings before 8:00 AM UK time

Realtime Trains | Home

For example, here is the schedule for Wednesday June 17th

Nice! Pretty soon you'll be a ship-tracking, countdown slobbering mess like the others......

Hahah.. Very funny and so true. I've already started inputting the VIN on the WW site.... clearly, it isn't there yet. But, I could end up crashing the site by checking it so much -- it definitely is exciting.

The Zeebrugge, Bidston and Millgarth tugs are towing the AC out of the Royal Seaforth Dock at this very moment ( Ok, I'm now ready to strap on the straight jacket and go quietly to a padded cell for the next month).

Nope, you'll still track it every hour or two and see how far it has NOT moved while you patiently wait...

Then, one day soon, it'll be away from the coast and you'll wait an agonizing week or so until it gets close enough to the US shore to track again, hoping it hasn't been boarded by pirates, sank in a storm, or been abducted by aliens...

(at least that's what I did...)

It won't be quite that bad. You'll only have to wait a week or so to ensure that it doesn't make an unexpected trip to the bottom of the ocean floor. Anything else that happens can easily be "buffed right out."

If it were going to the west coast, you could watch webcams of it traversing the Panama Canal. A bit boring in realtime.

A little late to the game.

I posted this already under "Another 2016 F Type Review"
