Default Wiper won't work. You're kidding me?

So I was on the way to my night shift and there were torrential rains here in NC. No problem... Just turn on the wipers right? WRONG....
The passenger's side works perferctly. The driver's side quivers and will not sweep.

Has anyone had this experience? Love the car. Not so happy with it right now.

Never heard of that before. Sounds like a mechanical problem (some loose screews somewhere?).

Happened on my GMC exactly like that, but after 25 years and 150,000 miles. Ball joint came loose. Used a pair of pliers on the socket, greased it up, good to go for another 150,000 miles and 25 years.
Sounds like wiper mechanism on yours came loose from a splined driver shaft. Easy fix. Major annoyance on a new car.

If it is caused by a loose screw, isn't the first loose screw issue in an F-type. I had a loose screw in the convertible top on mine that caused shims to fall out. Someone else has had a loose screw resulting in a loose battery cable. No doubt there are others I am forgetting at the moment. I guess it's better than over tightened screws but not by much.

A lot of problems are also caused by the loose nut behind the wheel.
