Default Wraps on The F-Type

Hello friends! I'm strongly considering wrapping my 2017 R. It is the beautiful Dark Sapphire Metallic, however there are a few scratches that are unable to be removed. Also, I've always wanted the Firesand color

Does anyone here have their F-Type wrapped? Did you like how it turned out? How long has it lasted?

Would love to see pictures or ideas

I'm leaning toward wrapping in the APA America Gloss Metal Electric Sunset

Is that one of the wraps that changes color depending on light and view angle?
They are pretty cool.

For me, best so far is Inozetek

Inozetek Super Gloss Metallic Racing Green (not a F-Type but close)

Matte grey aluminium with CF accents, the wrap still looks good after over two years.

My wrap was $3,000. There are a few threads on here with respect to wrapping including costs, costs varied significantly depending on city; the cost also increases for textured or chrome.

That price sounds pretty good considering it cost me $800 just for clear Expel on the front of the hood area.
Almost less than a repair after a minor paint scrape.
Does the film cover the entire original paintwork so that only the inside of the hood and trunk show the original color?

I remember we had a member from '14-15' who did his car in a color changing wrap, a purple as base.

That was price was also a couple of years ago.

It does cover all the original exterior paintwork. The door sills, inside the trunk and hood are all the original color (for me thats black)

When I was having my XPEL PPF done a couple of years ago, there was a C8 in the shop having a full wrap with a bright light blue color that was absolutely gorgeous. I was amazed at how good it looked. The tech installing it said the wraps were holding up really well and people were really pleased with them. I believe it cost nearly 5K [Southern California].

I have an Inozetek wrap too, it's held up well for 2 and a half years. My car is garaged though, I would never wrap a car that wasn't. Posted in the above linked thread.

I am a big proponent of wraps. Both full PPF wraps for protection and making the car stealth like I have on my M850 and also color change wraps as it makes them stand out as I did my R8. With the F Type so far I got it extensively PPF'ed in clear but eventually if I like it enough to keep it somewhat long terms but get bored of it otherwise, may decide on colour change to something that pops. For reference the satin m850 and r8 below.

This is a friend's matted/satined out F Type R and my R8, tough the wide angle makes the R8 look longer than it is. Makes it look funny. Haha.
