Default XJ R wheels on a F-Type R

Starting to look for a set of summer wheels for next spring. Keeping an eye on eBay for some 20' F-Type take-offs. I found a set of XJ R wheels that would look good on the F. (IMHHEO)

Check me on the specs: Existing front is 9jX20 et 45 XJ R is 9jX20 et49 So the XJ wheels would sit a little tighter to the suspension. May or may not need a spacer.
Existing rear is 10.5jX20 et 25 XJ R is 10jX20 et46 So the XJ wheels sit way to close. A 25mm spacer would be needed. Also the wheel is obviously a 1/2 inch small width.

What model F-Type do you have? Those aren’t standard offsets (55 & 38).

Right, got my facts mussed up. Since posting I found better info (a couple of your posts) and got the existing as 55 and 38.
The set on eBay are XJR Farallon's that are 9j 20 et47 and 10j 20 et44, according to AlloyWheelsDirect. So the fronts would have an 8mm poke and the rears would be sucked in 6mm plus the edge of the rim would be sucked 6mm for being a 10 instead of a 10.5 for a total of 12mm further in from the fender. So a 12mm spacer? Would I need to change the studs?

The wheels listed are not exactly a bargain but I do like them and they have a little "R" badge.

Go with a 20mm adapter in back to get the the same 8mm poke as the front. a 10 or 12mm spacer would require longer studs. The 20mm adpater would require no modification to the studs.

This adventure is becoming interesting. I abandoned the idea of the XJ R wheels because I found a “set” of Gyrodynes on eBay. Unfortunately they were a set of 4 rears. So now a pair of brand new take-offs is on the Marketplace.

In the mean time, I’m looking at buying a 2015 XF 3.0t sport (X250). I wonder how it would look with Gyrodynes.
