1990 xj40 wheels

Default 1990 xj40 wheels
Hi i tried to put a set of 15 inch pepper pot wheels on my 1990 xj40 but found they hit the brake caliper , is has the metric 390 wheels on it at the moment.
Can any one tell me if the is normal.

Pepper pot wheels were only fitted to Series 3 cars, not the XJ40s. OK, your 390mm wheels equate to 15.35", but the pepper pots casting is obviously a smaller diameter on the inside

theses wheels came of a 1985 im not sure if it's a xj40 or xj6
