Bear pace 200 and alignment machine
I did'nt know what section to put this under , so feel free to move it if need be. I just purchased a Bear pace 200 engine computer and alignment tools. I however have no Idea what it does, how to use it or if I paid too much. It comes with all manuals ( it came from a vocational school) . Im up for a challenge but I thought I would ask my Jag brothers and sisters first. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Keep it quiet cause im telling my wife I know what im doing.
Oh , I paid 250 bucks

Gordo, if you paid $250 for that, you got a steal. That is normally about a $3000 tool. Sure, it may be used, but that will be very handy. The big thing you need to know about that tool is how to access the Jag specific side of things. But, with that tool, you should be able to access pretty much every computer in the car, including the ABS system, tranny, etc. The nice thing about that unit is you should be able to see real time data on the car, which will make troubleshooting things a lot easier. Just don't get overloaded with all the info that you can access too. Sometimes too much info can be just as bad as not having enough.
I wish I could get my hands on something like that. I would really be dangerous then. Oh the things I could figure out.
