As can be seen from my signature picture I have a Facel Vega HK500. This is fitted with Borani steel wheels secured by knock-off spinners / hubs.


The wheels mount on splined hubs, sit onto approx. 45° tapered seats and are secured with 3 eared K-O spinners.


My question is, should the threads and/or seating surface of the spinners be greased?? I'm inclined to use a copper-cote type, anti-seize grease. I would not grease the taper seat, but the splines??
