I have a 1984 S3 Daimler Sovereign that has a rattling coming from the automatic gearbox. From talking to several people it could be either the torque converter or flexi plate, both parts being £600-900. I need to find a specialist who is prepared to strip the box down and determine the exact issue without me buying both parts up front.
Can anyone recommend such a company as near to Bishops Stortford as possible - can get the car transported up to 100 miles if necessary- who would do this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
