Thumbs up Evoque Coding.

Hey,

I know it's LR and not Jaguar but I feel like there's quite a bit of knowledge on this forum.

I have a 2015/16 Evoque that I purchased and it was missing the SD Card. Got a brand new one un-activated, been quoted £55 to code it by a specialist.

Before I do, I just wanted to understand what the cable / software I could use to do this if I wanted to do it myself along with other programming functions such as keys?

In the past I've been able to code the hidden DRL toggle menu from the HUD, I have DRL's in this facelift Evoque but after searching high and low it does not look like such a customisation exists? I have "exterior lights" menu item in the hud..

Thanks for any help and tips...

Welcome to the forums Kiblers,

JLR SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) with a Mongoose Pro cable interfaces with my 2014 XK for diagnostics and programming. However SDD will not even recognise my 2017 F-Pace which requires the later (current) JLR Pathfinder diagnostics with a DA Dongle (Diagnostic Associates) for the same level in interaction. I think your Evoque is also likely to require Pathfinder.

I can use iCarsoft Pro on both vehicles but it has very limited funtionality compared to the factory level diagnostics.

Graham
