JTIS21 and Windows 8
I just got a new desktop PC and wanted to get JTIS in it. Thanks to the excellent materials and instructions of jimlombardi I got the new version of JTIS21 and got it working! In two evenings... here are the critical points in my case, with Windows 8 Professional 64 bit:
Now I will collect some more courage before I update JTIS13 in my laptop with Win 8 Pro 32 bit… It had JTIS in it already when I upgraded Windows and JTIS kept working ok after the upgrade.

- download the program and instruction as instructed
- follow the instructions carefully - be prepared to work out the DAO350.dll and JJTIS.ini files, especially if you have had the previous version installed or with an installation attempt before
- MS Help software update -x64 did not work - apparently I'm not missing anything critical
- Adobe Reader XI did not work with JTIS21! - had to downgrade to version X and the pdf files started showing up (got it from http://www.oldapps.com/adobe_reader.php?old_adobe=8079)

Seems to work in 32 bit version of Windows 8 Professional, too. The same instructions apply but with a change in command string:
64 bit version:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO\dao350.dll"
32 bit version:
C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO\dao350.dll"
JEPC as instructed and provided in https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-xmas-48052/ seems to be working ok in both versions of Win 8, too.
