Default Luci retromarcia Jaguar XJ6 4.2

Grazie

Welcome to the forum sasanero,

The XJ6 Series II was manufactured before the European "E" marking system for vehicle lighting was introduced. I would be surprised if your XJ6 failed the vehicle test but have asked one of our Italian members to respond to your question.

welcome Sasanero!
I think nobody will ever see if the lenses of the reversing lights have the "E" so I think you are creating a useless anxiety.
Besides, I understand (I do not know well this model of Jaguar) that as a standard this car did not have it therefore you were also meticulous to insert them.
in my opinion nobody will make problems. I go to the review of my Harley Davidson every 2 years and I have both headlights homologated only for the American market (without "E") and no one has ever noticed.

( secondo me... vai tranquillo! )

Default Grazie

Grazie

The relevant standard is ECE Regulation 37 which was adopted by the UK on 21st August 1984. Vehicle components manufactured prior to this date do not carry the E11 mark.
