my jaguar xf 2.0L cut the engine off when i had stopped and try pulling off and suddenly apply the brakes the engine dies,and i have to put it into neutral and start again.please help what could be the problem.the other thing when i want to splash my windscreen the water comes out through the nozzles by the head lights how can i make it to come to the windscreen nozzles

Hi Rathedi
Can you tell us what year the XF was built and its mileage, please. It sounds like you have a blockage in the pipe leading to your windscreen washers. For the car stopping, there is usually an automatic stop-start mechanism that stops the engine if you're in traffic, although I wouldn't expect much traffic in Gabarone, capital of Botswana, am I correct ?
