Default Park assist and parking sensors not working

Hello guys hoping to get some advice

i I have a Jaguar Xjl autobiography - it came with the 8” screen. I have now put a 10” duel view screen in and it’s been working fine . However out of the blue my parking sensor threw up a fault . I’ve taken off the bumper and replaced the parking sensor - that fixed the sensor fault- however I now have an issue with the park assist and the parking sensor buttons, when you press them they flash for a couple of seconds then grey out on the screen.

i have plugged the sdd in and it said there is a problem with the module. I’ve swapped out the module and it hasn’t made any difference.

this is now the error on the Pam module
The software part number read from the control module does not match the part number of the software programmed. This may be due to a programming error or may be the result of the module not reporting the part number in an expected format.

can anyone suggest my next step to fix this issue please? Thanks in advance

This is the message when trying to update the module back to as built

StokerC,

Are you using SDD on-line or off-line?
The procedure for reprogramming modules begins with the existing module in place.
Reinstall the original module and try "reprogram existing module".
If that fails, clear codes, system reset and go to diagnostics.
Follow the procedure.
SDD at times seems slow but it is a system designed by geniuses to be carried out by idiots.
Have patience and follow the yellow brick road. Click you heel and it will take you home.

Keep us posted.
Let us know what worked for you.

Bill
