I don't know exactly the best way to set this up, but lets start a thread listing interchangeable parts for our Jaguars. If it works, everyone benefits from costs to ease of obtaining parts!

For example: 85-87 XJ6 Lucas AB14 Electronic Ignition Amplifier lists for $480 = remove backing plate and inside is AC Delco number D1906 or GM LX-301 that lists for $18 (Thanks to Doug!)

 

Its a great idea Jamey and one that hopefully some of the more knowledgable members with experience of these issues, and perhaps any techs will chime in on.
If we can get a decent amount of part numbers with interchangeable codes / numbers for certain models/ years etc we can sure sort out some type of catalogue for future use I'm sure
