Hi,
Does anyone on a forum have a software which calculates VIN + Seed code = password to SDD engineering mode? I have seen a few people selling this kind of applications (which makes sense once you have a garage, but if you need 1-2 codes a year max, might not be a reasonable purchase) and I was wondering if maybe someone already bought it and can help me with that?

Cool! ya I have had this sight bookmarked for a while but never tried it. I think today is the day! I just worry about pushing the wrong buttons and messing up my CCF.

 

I’ve tried this site but it asks for seed. Where do I find the seed? Must I have already accessed SDD to receive the SEED? If so, I’ve tried but it asks for log in to TOPIx and I haven’t quite gotten that subscription yet. Trying to find a way to gain access to any form of JLR Software/ Data to run a true in depth scan/ reset/ relearn adaptions and have access to their OE diagnostics. Any tips? Also I’m running Win 10 x64 bit with the SDD V160 Win10 x64 version/ patch file and a Mongoose Cable.

 

Sorry if this is off topic? But will this also work for Pathfinder?

I can use SDD OK as always but I don't know what all the other things do? Do I need that seed codes to get into Pathfinder or those other Icons?

the video shows the seed is given to you when you click on the ccf button.

 

SDD before 151 carries onboard vbf and bin files and doesn't have to download from topix. go use 130 on windows 7 with IE8

I have the offline seed calculator if you guys want it. works all the way back to the WDS

Does anyone know if I’m able to run Win 10 or 11 with Win 7 only booted for SDD? I read somewhere that a dual OS is possible. (I’m far from knowledgeable when it comes to the computer realm.)

 

You can try it? SDD is picky and some people have got it to work fine on virtual machines and dual boot machines. Others not at all. With how cheap laptops are I decided to just use a dedicated laptop (Win7) for SDD.

Mine has been working about 3+ years now. Hoping to figure out this coded access stuff using xalty's help.

Ya it’s been a bit of a headache figuring this all out. I purchased a PC with Win11 and uploaded Win10 because I found a Win10 x64 patch file but after numerous attempts and trying various Versions I’m now trying to just find out if I can go with Win10 and if so how and how much does it cost? Win7 basic or pro? What about Visual Redistributable c++ version? I tried a 2015, 2019?, and a 2022 but none have worked and the 15’ I believe caused a white screen of death (restart and went away)

 

I use win7 Pro but any Win7 will work.

Note to anyone trying this. Any Windows machine will fight you trying to save or use this file. It's coded as a Trojan and if your unlucky enough to have Win10 or above the file will be AUTOMATICALLY deleted by Windows WITHOUT telling you. The file will just vanish EVEN if you set an exception in Windows Defender! Pure Microsoft garbage software again and again. It's just such a sad sack of crap even after 40+ years of trying.

But I did get it installed and even now when I run it all kinds of useless Windows security craps pops up. Just close all that junk. Any Windows Defender scans will identify it as malicious and delete it. It has been recommended to me by others to dump Security Essentials and use a real program. But that's even more work so I have not done it yet.

Next I will get it over to my SDD Win7 machine and see if I can generate some codes!

I've been trying to get the SEED Passcode from the this website https://vehcom.com/jlr/access-code/ and keep getting error messages! I'm running V130 on a Virtual XP machine, and am trying to upload the as-built information on my 2013 XJL.
Xalty, can someone provide a link to your offline seed calculator?
