Software Update WhatsApp Glitch
Hi. Someone else posted about the recent update causing WhatsApp to advise contacts do not have WhatsApp set up, and I have the same since updating. Couldn’t see any responses on it so hopefully someone has an answer or know of an impending update coming along.
As the previous person mentioned, WhatsApp messages can be played, but you can no longer reply to them or send a new one via CarPlay.

So after much hair and teeth pulling I’ve finally resolved this. The problem was not with the Jaguar OS 4.2.0 Software update i ran on 5th August……it was a glitch in the WhatsApp update which coincidentally was on the same date on my iPhone. So it looked like a PIVI issue, but it’s not.
Anyway, once you update WhatsApp again on your mobile phone (new update today 13th Aug), all should be sorted.
