Does anyone know what works when it comes to heat and sound insulation? My project is a freshly painted tub inside/underside with urethane bedliner on the bottom and wheel wells. I've been reading a lot of sales info - Lizardskin, Second skin, Dynamat, etc. - and concluded everyone has the best product. Any informed opinion what to use where would be appreciated.

 

.... and some further details regarding the 'tub' would possibly help to get such informed opinions.

Beautiful - I don't like to think how many hours have gone into getting to that stage.

Members in MkI/MkII forum and possibly XJS forum who have done full restorations should have good advice on current insulation materials.
