i changed the coupler on the supercharger , yet it makes a weird sound like there where rocks in the supercharger.. does anyone knows if the supercharger makes a sound like that or is that abnormal?.. does that means i need a replacement?

 

greenbeast, based on what you are saying, it sounds like you have a bearing starting to go bad on your supercharger. Could be a fairly cheap fix if that is what it is. But, if the bearing is too far gone, could get expensive really fast.

As long as you catch this one fast before you start hearing metal scraping, you should be good. There are some pretty tight tolerances inside of superchargers and if you start getting metal on metal grinding, it will turn ugly really fast.

 

well... the mech said that the bearings look ok.. but he cant figure out why is making that sound.. it sounds like rocks inside a can...
