Unhappy Transmission Service

HI, I have a 2013 Jaguar xf 3.0 with 96,500 miles and I would like to know if I should change the transmission oil and filter? Also, how often should it have been done?

Welcome to the forums eddy357,

YES

For many years Jaguar insisted that transmissions were 'sealed for life' and required no periodic maintenance. As transmission manufacturers were advising periodic fluid and filter changes, JLR have dropped this ridiculous advice and recent model service schedules include changes although only at 150K miles. Most agree that around 75K miles is the appropriate fluid and filter change interval.
