Update on warrenty question
aBOUT TO PICK UP 2013 XK SAJWA4FB7DLB49229 WITH 18,000 mi
Thanks for advice re: buying warrenty or not. I gave in and purchased 5 yr warrenty from Jaguar (reasonably priced if based on time instead of miles). Chances are over 5 years will recoup money. If sell b4 this will sweeten the deal.
Another question: Battery drain after short times apparently an issue. This car needed to have a recharge just 2 weeks ago! despite having battery replaced 18 months ago. I don't plan on driving much and it will likely sit for weeks without use. Should I install a new battery now, install an automatic charger, or just wait and see what happens? Thanks.

Unless you have both the ability and the desire to maintain and repair the vehicle yourself, the warranty is a wise choice.
With the kind of use you plan, you should definitely buy a battery tender. Many of us have chosen CTEK.
