Default VIN Conflicts on SDD Session (v145 and v154)

What does it mean when you have VIN conflicts on SDD/IDS session DTC export.

I have 3 types of VIN conflicts on modules.

1. Just shows a VIN different from the car.
2. The VIN reads as all zeros. (0000000)
3. The VIN reads as all question marks. (??????)

Does this just mean the module needs to be programmed to the cars VIN or is there something else that I need to troubleshoot. If so then I'm assuming I need to use v145 since I'm working offline and v154 removed the VDF files from offline.

The last "offline" version was 1.50. After that JLR stopped including the Jaguar and Land Rover VDF's.

If you want to use anything later, you have to subscribe and pay up. The VDF's download when online.

Thanks for the info @GGG .

If I setup V150 running offline would you recommend re-flashing these modules since they have the 3 different types of VIN conflicts?

Some will call me over cautious but I'd be wary of re-flashing modules without an online version and definitely only if you have a genuine Mongoose.
