Who refurbishes wheels?
Hey guys, does anybody know of a good, economical, shop/business that refurbishes stock wheels? Names and numbers please.
Within the last two weeks, I have driven it, the dealer had it for 2 days, and my car audio shop had it for a day. In that span, this happened...and I am very sick to my stomach. This is my biggest pet peeve. [sm=boohoo.gif] <sniff, sniff>

RE: Who refurbishes wheels?
It would have to be someone local to you. We have places that do a great job. One repairs the rims. We have to send them out. For stuff like yours, we have a guy that comes out. You would never even know. Call your dealer and find out who they use. Call them direct and not through dealer. Will be cheaper.

RE: Who refurbishes wheels?
Took your advice FJT, emailed my service guy (Lee) for a business name/number for a repair guy that they use, and he replied with 'bring it on in, and I'll have it turned around in 24 hours". Repair charge will be $126.
He's smooth...he didn't give me a chance to contact them directly for a repair. I'll suck this one up and bring it in, it's cheaper than a new wheel, which I ordered a refurbed one for $300, but doubt they will find one due to rarity of the 19" apollo's. I have read that Jag had two suppliers for this wheel, one had poor quality control, the other went out of business...so finding replacements are hard. Any truth to that one, have you heard?
