XK8/R seat belt webbing retainer

XK8/R seat belt webbing retainer
I don't suppose anybody knows where I can get one of these little clips?
They are basically rarer than Rocking Horse droppings.
The problem I think was that in the mid 1990's, Ford's "crack team" of accountants specified some really cheap and nasty bits for the early XK8/R. I managed to salvage one of them and glue it together and stuck it on, purely for cosmetic reasons, don't ever put the seat belt through it. The passenger side just has a couple of holes where the clip used to be. I can not believe how they could use such flimsy interior parts that just broke on a coupe costing £60k at the time.
Such a lovely car and lovely design ruined by the money men.
Just my opinion

Hi Graham
Thanks for that, I have posted an introduction message a couple of days ago.
I will go and make sure that it has been sent.
I will check out the website as you suggested, but I am not very hopeful. The part in question was such a cheap brittle piece of plastic that most of them perished
Yours is the newer model XK? can only tell really from the more angular headlamp shape as the avatar is quite small, very nice love the dark blue and those fab wheels, are they Sepangs??. Ha ha yes I am a total complete Jag nerd and hope to expand my knowledge by chatting to fellow Jag nerds! I just have to slum it with a 1999 series 1 model ha ha! But I know which will be worth more in 30 years time (If I live that long) LOL
I went down to the car park by the river at our Fish Quay in North Shields a few weeks ago and I got chatting to an old guy who had this really rare little Daimler. Cant remember everything he said but I know it was a 4.2 straight 6 (I think). It was quite a straight tail end a bit like an old MG or early Triumph roadster. It wasn't a Dart.
He told me that this was one of the only two roadsters that Daimler made, the rest were all Coupe's.
Don't know enough to know if he was talking bull or not
Really nice to talk to a fellow enthusiast G

Hi Graham
I did post and intro but it was in the visitor forum.
I have reposted it on the new member introduction thread.
Really thanks for the help and I apologise.
I am completely totally useless with IT and Forums so just bear with me and give me a prod in the right direction.
Thanks Graham, much appreciated

Steve,
Jaguar plastic has a terrible reputation. If the seat belt clip is the only thing broke then you've got off lightly. Still worth trying Eurojag.
My current Jaguar is an Indigo Blue XK with Carelia wheels:
My last XK8 had Sepang split rim alloys:
The roadster you were chatting about was probably the aluminium bodied Daimler Roadster.
It was manufactured from 1953-58 and only 119 were sold.
