Has anyone here put any money down on the upcoming I Pace EV? We in North America have to wait a year before they land but our European friends get theirs probably before 2017 is over. The road going version of the concept car will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. I'm assuming options and specs will be finally released. I think it will be a nice contrast to my series 2 XJ...

I'd be jealous, this is the first EV that tickles my fancy...

If we get them early in Oz I'll be sure to take one for a drive and let you know how it turns out. I cant see getting out of my noisy F Type for something silent any time soon and my wife would marry her XE is she could, but I see this car as something I'd look at in a few years.

Australia will probably get them before we do. In the interim I am considering pulling the trigger on an XF Portfolio until they hit our shores. Nobody local has the one I want so I'll have to factory order that too.

 

I put a deposit down on one a couple months ago. Waiting, waiting waiting...

I have yet to do that but I will be shortly. I wanted to wait until the options and specs were available- presumably just before or after the official launch at Frankfurt. You've got me thinking I should drop a little cheddar to at least get in the queue...
