Question Are I-Paces selling? Are dealers negotiating?

I'm looking for a new 2022 I-Pace. They seem to be hard to find right now. Is this because they're popular, or because there aren't many being made?

More importantly, are dealers negotiating on price for '22s, or are they comfortable sticking at full MSRP?

And if I request a custom-built vehicle (with bespoke color), does that completely eliminate my ability to negotiate on price?

I don't know what the situation is in the USA, but all European makers are having considerable trouble getting electronic components right now, and have shut down production lines either fully or part-time. The I-Pace is made in Austria by Magna. What their situation is I don't know, but I suspect it's the same as every other car. EV or ICE they all have electronic components in them. I drove an I-Pace a few months ago at the local Jaguar dealer, and was mightily impressed. Compared to a Tesla it is streets ahead on interior, although I do love the Tesla Model S body style, it's like a Maserati !

I could see myself driving one, (used, obviously !), in the future, but the charging network in the UK needs considerable investment first.

Pretty much the same issue here. GM and Ford have both cut back manufacturing and even getting test drives are problematic at the moment. Expectations are these shortages will extend into next year and some of the folks I work with suggest they will continue into 2023 as the core problems will take time to address.
