Today my sat nav on the Ipace (2023) has gone and it says I need to connect a USB with maps. Any ideas please

 

This sounds like the kind of error that occurs when the memory is compromised, broken, or disconnected. My guess is this will require the replacement of your AV system head unit as I'm not aware of any ability to upgrade or replace system memory. We have run into this with computers but never with a car, but since our cars are basically rolling computers, the same rules should apply. This would require a service call (dealer issue) to fix. Best of luck and let us know what happens, I haven't seen this before in an I-Pace or any other car I've covered. Even the very painful Auto PC didn't throw this error, best of luck!
