RE: Leather Conditioner
Lol Mbud.......thought so.
I gotta say though I use Asda quite a bit, be surprised at some of the stuff they offer.
Like the Jumbo sponges for sale in Auto stores n Garage forecourts for £1.50 - £1.99.........they sell em for 35p!
I'll have 6 please........lol
Air fresheners, Wet n Slick tyre sheen is the cheapest I've seen there too, along with Back to black and the like.

Air fresheners, I buy a can of orange airfreshener and when I get home I spray into all the air vents. It sits overnight so the smell is not overpowering in the am,lasts for acouple of days. For the carpets Fabreeze works and smells good and since I gave up smoking this lasts quite a while.

Nineball........I totally agree!
However, I live n breathe in the real world and its not that easy. Trust me I keep my car lookin as great as possible, no eating or drinkin 4 sure, and the odd cigarrette.
Even with your method I still think it needs sumthin after a while. you know?

Helps if you clean it regularly! I try to apply leather conditioner every time I stop sliding around on the leather I wipe her down.

Too much time on my hands I think!......lol
But - I like my car to be at its best all the time, or at least as often as is reasonably practical.

Just by regularly cleaning the interior, the new car smell goes away because leather conditioners, armor all, and soups and what not have their own smells that make the new car smell fade.
I need air freshners often tho because in the winter if I do not have time to clean the interior every weekend, my 93 gets musty because the foam under the carpet gets wet occasionaly even with my rubber mats. When that foam gets wet than there is an odd odor, that isn't very bad, but air freshners smell alot better.

RE: Leather Conditioner
Im brand new to this site, but I will put in my $0.02. I had leather seats in my mustang for 12 years and they looked great, soft, perfect, right up until a 4-wheel drive truck ended my mustang's life. I used a product that I used to get at a boot store called Lexol, its great, I can't imagine anything working better. The skin on your hands even feels soft after you use it. I have recently seen in in stores in the auto care section, so I guess that its starting to gain some popularity.
