pillar for guages on 2001 s-type

Hey everyone,

I was looking to but Aftermarket Guages in my 2001 s-type. It seen their are no specific pillar pod available. Do you guys think this one will do the trick?? http://www.pillarpod.com/Items/GS-U3...20Pillar%20Pod

You are kidding right? Pillar gauges for an S-Type? Your not driving a Honda my friend!

What possible reason is there to ruin your interior with extra gauges?

I would use the ashtray cover if you realy, realy have to. There is plenty of room. Have a professional woodwrker drill the holes and mount them properly. If you are going to do it...spend the money to do it right. Please dont put pillar gauges in your Jag!

What other gauges do you need than what is allready provided? This is the wrong kind of car to emulate anything even approaching "ricer" add ons. Spend the money onsuspension, engine or appearance upgrades.

You got a point flamur. But I have some crazy fascination of the air to fuel ratio guage. (you know the one with the flashing LEDs)I just want some guages in my car. I know it is ricey but I just have an urge.....

Whilst looking for my "S" I came across a 2004 which had a single din radio conversion with three gauges below it. Someone had gone to a lot of trouble to recess the gauges and veneer it. I have to say it did look original and ols school.
