Not a major problem more of how does this happen; When I have visited a web site let us say "Memory Foam Mattress" the advert appears in this forum at the bottom. Is this something to do with cookies or the like.

Does the same for me, everyone Mac.

Just as an aside, I've been using the site for 6+ years now and never had any security issues relating to this site.

Your surfing habits are being tracked across the interweeb by your browser in order to push advertisements at you hoping that they're relevant and that you'll buy. Although I've got everything blocked on this machine, I can tell you that there are usually between seven and eleven different trackers 'watching' on a typical website.

Sounds insidious and nefarious but as Jim says, nothing really comes of it. It's part of the price of using free websites with free search engines. Remember the golden rule- if it's free, you're not the 'customer', you're the 'product'.
