Guest Access to Profiles
I discovered quite by accident that there is a list of people viewing threads at the very bottom. Only members are listed by name; for example, "12 (5 members & 7 guests)" with members' names listed below.
If people that don't appear on that list, those who are not members, can still view threads, are they also able to look at members' profile pages?
Just curious.

Quite simply LnrB, No!
Guests have very very basic access to the site
More privileges are gained at "registered user" level and more again after "Full Forum Access" has been granted.
Clearly mods have further powers on site and Supermoderators more still
