I was a member of Jag-Lovers.org since 2002 but joined here a few years ago and when I did it seemed alot slower (as in less posters) than it is now? Any confirmation of this or is it just my imagination?

No question the site is busier today than when I joined in January 2009. More owners seem to be finding their way here, and the site seems to have more and more members who participate on a regular basis as opposed to only seeking help for a problem every now and then....

Members will always come and go as they acquire their cars, keep them for a few years, and then move on to something else. But with the horrible economy, folks tend to hold onto their vehicles longer. Perhaps that's another factor that's driving up forum participation....

Yes the site and the active membership continues to grow. All to the good.

As you will have seen, due to these increases, there have also been a few design changes, with more model specific sections to hopefully help cater to more people.

I remember when I joined I read the entire S type section from cover to cover in a few hours over a weekend.
It would take a bit longer now.

Hi there and thanks for the post

You're right it is quite a bit busier and growing steadily all the time.
When I joined in 2006 there were around 200 members iirc, maybe not even that or not much more anyway.

The site is a little faster in terms of speed. We have many many new members, more joining daily.
New sections have been added / tweaked and new moderators recently too.

I do think its all positives, thanks to many of the great members / techs / mods we have here........I feel sure we can continue in this vein.
