Exclamation I want my signature back

Okay, I know this new format is going to take some getting used to, but I reeeaallly need to get my signature pics and my avatar back. It only shows my photobucket link but not the picture. And when I go to edit signature, 'signature permissions' indicates 'No' where it says 'Can upload images for signature'. Does this mean that no matter what I do, I will not be allowed to have my pics in my sig? **insert weeping emoticon**HELP!

I agree with you. I just got my car as the avatar post in the last month or so. Now it's all gone and so is my profile. The only thing remaining is my signature.
Also I not that crazy about the format. What was wrong with the old one?

Lots was wrong with the old format.

vB is a good forum software, give the admins some time to adjust. Just like you guys are getting used to the new forum, they've gotta get familiar with an unfamiliar back-end for the program since it looks like they didn't really make many adjustments before rolling it out.

I think we just have to get use to the new format - everything should work.

Uptown, I think you just have to put [img] before and [/img] after your url.

No, I use vB on everything else. The admins still need to enable a few things that most vB forums have for ease-of-use.

IMG tags won't work in sigs, most BBcode is enabled but BBcode for IMGs is disabled. Dunno why, something the mods just did mistakenly I guess.

I'm sure they will get it worked out. I have to agree Cerberus this format is a huge improvement over the old system.

On a happier note Christo, my 04 X is that same great English racing color as yours. I love looking at my car. Damn...we have good beautiful rides.

Yeah. I got my sig back. Click User CP at top left of this page. Click edit signiture in settings and options. I moved my sig photo from Photobucket to my computer. Then browsed to the file (option 2). Upload. It shows you the picture when it completes. Click insert signiture picture. Check the preview. Main problem is that the size can't exceed 500 by 100 pixilx or 9.8 kb. Mighty small file. Uptown, I have to think your sig pic is a little bigger than that. I'll miss the Water Tower.

Hey guys, go check out Caddies how to post pics thread in this section. It shows you where you open up your options for avatars / sigs etc etc
You should find it useful and get your profiles updated to where you want them to be

Jim,

Could you enable IMG tags in signatures for those of us that want text and image? Right now you can only have text OR an image.

Also, it would be cool if the smileys were available from Quick Reply like many other vB sites, for those of us who don't like the WYSIWYG editor.

This is true, I often find myself peaking into the garage - life is good!
