I was just curious how many people access this site via mobile phone and if it wasn't too difficult for a mobile phone friendly version? Mobile phones have come a long way and can reach pretty decent speeds however it is not yet a laptop replacement. But they are close. I practically live off my Sprint Mogul. I am using it right now to type this post. Any idea?

 

I rarely use my phone to log on at the forums .So far so good no connection problems at all . My phone is Nokia E90 .Speed ? Well, it's pretty good

 

You should be able to get 3G with that phone which is fast. Sprint has the evdo service and I can't complain. I check email from 3 addresses (1 exchange server), stream tv via orb, remote into computers from the road and even stream satellite radio. Something funky with internet explorer is that its memory fill up quickly and need to be restarted.

Maybe there is an option that is a simple as checking a box so mobile users can view a text only version?

Yep, mine is 3G that's why it should be that fast lol
I use my internet for my daily use such as browsing forums , checking mails , posting etc . It's like laptop anyway
