New car needing having a detention pump leak
Just purchase my new 2020 Jaguar F-TYPE took it to have it service has some issues have those corrected cost me $3,200 so far but I still have a leak detention pump that's what the technician told me to check engine light was for what I need to know is I purchased the pump already is it costly to have it replaced considering I've already bought the part also I'm having a problem with my SOS battery needing to know how to replace it it's showing me on my dash that I have limited SOS trying to get all the small issues fixed so I won't have big ones later on need some help thanks
If you just purchased the car chances are it was sitting on a lot for a while before you got it. Put the car on a battery tender or battery charger and make sure it is fully charged. It may solve your SOS function issues, but probably not the detention pump one. These cars are very touchy if the battery is not fully charged and throw all kinds of error messages and exhibit strange behavior if the battery is not fully charged.
