Hello, Again -

In light of the following post to "Off Topic,"
I think a new topic is in orer, titled,
"Market Conditions."


Good Day, All -

While definitely not "Off Topic," this
post is placed here for want of a
better place.

I just withdrew from bidding on
any eBay auctions for XKR Cabs,
(convertibles).

This, because I recently learned
that Ford is planning on dropping its
Jaguar and Land Rover lines, completely.

I seriously doubt if Ford can realize even
one-half of the more than $5+ billion it has
sunk into manufacturing Jaguars. Thus, that
distinguished marque will probably either
go private or go out of business.

If either of those events happen, all existing
Jags, new and used, will be "orphans" because
they lack the financial backing of a major
auto manufacturer.

So, I predict at least a 10 - 15% immediate
drop in Manheim's auction prices. And who
knows what after that?

I think I'll just wait until Fall to buy. Besides,
convertibles then also drop substantially in
price.

QUAERE -What do you think about the market
for Jags, in general??
