When I took delivery of my 2002 XK8 that I had bought from out of state I was sick. It seemed like a nightmare of expensive technology that I had not a prayer of understanding. I am a fair mechanic, on old cars. But the challenge looked insurmountable. Then I found this forum. Largely thanks to the members of this forum I have corrected the most critical issues and expect to be able to handle the rest.
I am impressed that most of the members seem to embrace the idiosyncrasy of these cars. And believe it or not, I am enjoying the challenge to learn a whole new chapter of modern automobiles.

Many members (myself included) only own Jaguars because of this Forum.
