Why can I not insert a image from my PC files to this site into a new thread , it is asking for a web address ! .

Spike first off, I see by your 2 posts that you have not visited the "New Member" section and introduced yourself per forum etiquette.

There is a 10 post, 3 day waiting period or a manual upgrade to full membership by JimC64 after you properly introduce yourself.

About posting pictures, use the "Go Advanced" button, after the page loads, use the "Manage Attachments" button and go from there. But again you do not have full membership access as of yet and cannot post pictures.
