I returned from a couple of weeks away from the forum and found that my account had been deleted. All my posts are shown as by "guest", and my profile was completely gone. I had to sign up again and start over. Is there something I don't know about?

 

They meant to ban all killer whales from the forum, and you were mistakenly included?

Hi Orca,
re your account. There is a clearout every once in a while and the criteria for this one was " members who had not posted within a year "
These members ( around 800 or so ) clutter things up and give false indications of how many members there are, how busy the site is etc etc. Also, there is only a finite amount of space available. The more used the slower the forum can become for all those members that do frequent it on a daily / weekly basis.

I can only assume that your account had not been used / no posts made within the timescale given, hence the reason for deletion.

Not to be argumentative, but I thought that he had posted numerous posts in the XJ8 forum very recently? Unless there is another Orca running around?
