Default Do as we say, not as we do!

Anyone else notice the the trend in automotive commercials to demonstrate autos at high speeds, on the track, drifting, and barrel rolling? As if they'd let you do this with your car!

Of course racing is specifically pointed out in Jaguars Warranty booklet as "Misuse" of their product and means for denying warranty coverage. There are even vin collection efforts at some tracks so manufacturers can update their files to deny warranty. BMW too....

A bit misleading, ain't it? So you can get a car that looks like this, but don't you dare drive it this way or you risk your warranty. Bollocks.

Finally, here is a great article about the trend where some forward-thinking manufacturers have CHANGED this policy (Chevy Camaro SS). Jaguar should follow suit IMO.

'Let us show you all the things you can't do with your Jaguar'.....very deceptive.
