Lots of meaningless camouflage pictures. So it has 4 wheels and goes real fast.

"Those invited to see the car were [NOT] allowed behind the wheel." (sic in story).

It will likely follow the same rocky launch as the I-Pace EV and likely never make money for JLR. Many delays, lots of problems with the early builds in the real world, and now NO dealer network at all. Who is even going to sell these things? Land Rover dealers??

Lets see where we are in two years. Prove me wrong, jaGuar!!

I was watching a Youtube video yesterday and Jaguar made their list of Best/Worst sales pitches for late December 2025. So, it appears Jaguar is selling cars now. With that being said, the "deal" Jaguar had was for the F-Pace only (notice, I did not note any of the new cars, more on that in a bit). The deal was they were willing to sell you the vehicle with an annual percentage rate guaranteed by Jaguar at 6.9%. No money off, no lease specials, no anything else. For trying to get back into the car market, that seemed pretty weak. Going to the website didn't show anything at all when it comes to year end promotions.

To my surprise, you are able to order cars (yes, 2026 vehicles from what I could tell, they were not exactly jumping out and saying "look at this redesigned car for 2026" anywhere). You were able to order the E/F/I-Pace line. I E-Pace had a single engine in its line up. The F-Pace did offer 2 motors (appears to be the I-4 and the supercharged V8 as the second motor made 575 hp). The I-Pace had its electric drive.

You then had 2 sedans. You had the F-Type and the XF. The F-Type had a I4/V6 (240/300 hp) and then had a supercharged V8 (the 575 hp engine). There were 2 variations for the XF and 6 versions of the F-Type. The F-TYpe gave you the choice of a 300 hp V6 (4 of the 6 options, with half of those being convertibles) and then you had the F-Type R with the V8 (hard top/convertible).

I went through the listings of picking options for all 5 of these vehicles and nothing popped up saying "unable to order desired vehicle" (as I would expect at this point if they had no vehicles for sale in 2025). So, waiting to see what exactly is going on. I have a few days off, may run to my local dealership and see what they say. May be a good (humorous?) story time.

Wow, resuming production of the previous models? Strange.
I wonder if they have warehouses full of parts that they would like to get rid of?
Maybe turn lemons into lemonade?

They purged the dealer network and eroded public confidence.
Told customers: "we don't want to sell to you unless you are a zillionaire with "our" sensibilities.

They "proudly" announced that they would "copy nothing" by copying Sir William Lyons' tagline!

Actually, what made Jaguar successful from the very beginning was providing a very affluent looking vehicle at a moderate price.

Ford had it right, just the timing (world economic collapse) was wrong.

Know your customer, Jaguar!

All Jaguar vehicle production has stopped. The F-Pace was the last model made, ending production this year. What you are seeing are remnants of the last of production that hasn't sold yet. Of course they are very slow to sell because there isn't much of a car company in existence anymore. The website will have you believe you can still order one. They could probably sell you one. It will be a leftover, possibly from another city. Possibly a courtesy vehicle from a Land Rover dealership. The last of the last. Good luck with any warranty service.

Its all over for Jaguar as we knew it. The new Type g00fy is years away from feasibility.
