Jaguar Franchise Dealer "Take back"
Wondering if anyone has heard about Jaguar taking back Jaguar franchise dealerships? We are an independent shop in San Diego that has had an E-pace at one of our local dealers for over a month for a repair that was beyond our programming devices. We went to pick up the car on Friday 6-13-25 and all of the Jaguar signage had been removed from the facility. The sales floor where the Jaguars were had been replaced with Rovers. The service writer told us that the franchise had been "taken back" and that only warranty work would be maintained by a minimal staff of technicians. He also said that they would not be stocking replacement parts and that if a customer wanted them to perform maintenance on their car they would have to pre-pay for the parts then they would order them. We purchase $20-25K of parts a month from the other dealer in town and are wondering what is happening as they have made no mentions of these events to us. Yesterday I heard a radio ad for the dealership and the Jaguar portion in the name had been dropped.
