Jaguar has given us glimpse of a new "ultra-high-performance" XFR-S ahead of the vehicle's world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Jaguar calls the four-door the fastest and most powerful sedan the company has ever produced, and confirmed details are scarce beyond the fact that only 200 of the vehicles will make it to US shores.

We've spotted the machine whipping around the Nürburgring a few times, and from what we can tell, it will bow with the same 550-horsepower, supercharged V8 engine that propels the XKR-S to ludicrous speed.

We have no qualms with the notion of that mill in the nose of the already loveable XF. We imagine such a creation would be more than enough to give the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG something to sweat over.
