Speth has spent nearly 22 years working in Europe's automotive industry. He was involved with product planning at Land Rover during its ownership by BMW, and ultimately joined Ford's Premier Automotive Group when the brand was purchased by the U.S. automaker in 2001. Following a stint at the blue oval, he was involved with the Linde Group, where he was in charge of global operations. "
