Default 420G - IRS rebuild

I need to rebuild IRS ( Independent Rear Suspension). Finaly is out of the car, just one radius arm bush dont want to relase... I have one extra IRS from XJ series 3 - 1982. Is this same? Mounting Bolts looks same dimensions... Now is time for improvements, any sugestions ? Brakes ? Discs ?

I own a 63' 3.8s which is similar, there are a lot of differences between years, models, and if it was auto/manual; hopefully Curt is still around contact him for diff rebuild, etc.https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...ommend-237217/
and parts for rear end, etc. As an example on my 63' 3.8s I found out there were a couple of versions just on my same year IRS where I had to send back the pinion gear as it would not fit, so there are a lot of variations, be careful. Curt only does Jaguar rear ends and he is very affordable and knows them better than other Jag guys as he also did a lot of performance use of those Jag rear ends for hot rods, etc. He gets all of the correct OEM bearings, and right parts to make it bullet proof. I bought all the parts from him and had my local shop to the rebuild.

For brakes check out Fosseyway Brakes the know Jaguars and will make upgrades for any model; I purchased their 6 piston front brake upgrade on the rear on my 3.8s I used an early E-type brake for the inboard brakes. His kits use the stock booster, etc so you just need a proportioning valve possibly depending on your setup. Performance Brake Upgrade (Dunlop) - Fosseway PerformanceFosseway Performance

What I did was to brace the cage and powder coat it along with having Curt build up the diff with stronger parts....
