Park/emergency brake parts MK VII
Looking for parts source for the park/emergency brake on the MK VII. Specifically need part number C2482 (alternative part number is GB41407) which is called: tappet return spring. This spring sets on the bottom of the rear brake slave cylinder (see attachment) and acts to return the tappets ( and therefore the brake shoes) to their rest position when park/emergency brake is released. Would also like to find the drawlink (also sometimes called the wedge), which when pulled by the park/emergency brake cable pushes the tappets out which push the brake shoes out to engage the drum. The part number for the drawlink is C6181 or alternatively 481843. Without these parts, the park/emergency brake can be engaged but will not release on its own!
I would appreciate any leads or suggestions someone might have!

Do you have a sample of the spring from the other side of the car? If so, an "old school" auto parts store may be able to go into the back room and match the spring to something on hard.
Here is a question that should not have to be asked: Where are you located?

It is a simple brake spring.
Grab the one from the other side and go to your local car wrecking yard, auto dismantlers or whatever it is called in your part of the world. (Wherever it is; please include your location in your address)
There is nothing special about Jaguars. They used heaps of bought in parts and brake springs are almost 100% sure to be a component common with other makes.
Actually, it looks pretty similar to an early Toyota 4-wheel drive that used drum brakes.
Cheers
