Temporary Wheels
Hey Everyone,
I have a 1954 Jag MK VII Saloon -- one of the big cats. I need to move it quickly. It has sat for over 40 years in a garage and is completely on flat tires. Is there a quick replacement wheel I can throw on it in order to easily get it on a flatbed truck? I have to move it this week because the garage it's stored in is being torn down. This would only be a very temporary solution to move it to a new location until I'm ready to restore it! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Why not just fit a set of tubes to the existing tyres, as the tyres will stand you just moving the car onto a flatbed.
I looked up the original wheels, and they were pressed steel 16" 5K, then 5.5K from 1952. Tyres were Dunlop 6.70x16. It is 5 stud fixing.
If you've got a set of the smaller saloon wheels, these were 15" but same stud fixing, so should just bolt on. OK just to move the car, I would have thought.
