Description:

I am looking for an aftermarket ECU system and all related sensors, to control the fueling of my V12 engine. (the injectors, low impedance, original) I am still wanting to use my original distributor and single coil. 1976, 5.3, Lucas ECU. I have an aftermarket cam, and even though I had AJ6 adjust my original ECU twice, it is super rich at the bottom end and lean up top. It can't be done properly without the car... I need something adjustable to get it running correctly. A used ECU possibly? If it is all good with all the sensors and stuff.
Thanks.

How big are your cams? The way you do this is with later intake manifolds and fuel rails and injectors,. The early fuel rail are fire prone. The moderns injector will allow you to use a 2 microsquirts. 1 for each side of the engine and tune it properly. Lotta work but can be done.

I have upgraded my fuel rails to the more modern ones. I have modified my intake manifolds so, I am sticking with these. As for the injectors, the originals have been cleaned. It cost me some $, but they work like new. So changing everything back to what you recommend will not allow me to change my A/F ratio to work best with my setup. So, I still need some aftermarket ECU to adjust my fueling accordingly.
