This is as the dealers use(d) and can be used to flash ECU/TCM and make dealer level adjustments and configs via Jaguar SDD.
There are cheap clones that can read codes but they cannot write to the ECU/ECM.

I got it when I used a clone, and bricked my ECU. I have used it to successfully restore my and other members cars who used clones to try and make adjustments.

You will need some computer skills to set up a Virtual Windows machine running XP and the SDD Jaguar Software. Many guides online.
