Description:

2005 Jaguar XJR, all options for the year: nav, 4 zone climate, 4 heated seats and steering wheel, etc. No bluetooth, I used an FM transmitter for this.

I am selling the car to either be restored or parted out. The car currently runs but has a transmission fault which locks it into a sloppy 3rd gear (I think), but it will need to be towed to its new location. The fault is most likely from a leak, but I'm sure the trans could use a rebuild either way.

I bought the car in working condition with the intent of restoring it, some of which I did.

Stuff I fixed:
- It has new drilled/slotted rotors and pads (with surface rust since it has been sitting) and new parking brake pads
- new control arms
- new coolant valley hoses (if you know what this is, you know it will be necessary at some point and how much of a pain it is to do). I cleaned the supercharger while it was off the engine.
- I added coventry hornet wheels, which are discontinued and now incredibly hard to find. It has 20"x8.5" rear and 18"x8.5" front, with a 1" larger than stock rear tire diameter a la Mercury Marauder. This does not affect the dynamic handling or whatever they call it.
- I also have 20"x10" coventry hornet rears and spacers to make them fit, if you want to move the 20"x8.5"s up front.
- I also have the original 19" alloy wheels if those are preferred.

The good:
- engine runs super strong and smooth
- There are less than 175k miles on the car. I don't remember exact since the battery is currently drained
- All electrical systems and components work perfectly
- There is 5% tint on the rear and back seat windows, 15% on front seat windows, and it is very high grade stuff that doesn't bubble or turn purple.
- seats, carpet, leather, and wood trim are clean without rips or noticeable wear

The bad:
- transmission, as mentioned previously
- headliner needs replacement including sunroof panel
- sunroof is off the track
- because the sunroof was off the track, there was a leak and now a musty smell
- hood is structurally fine but the clearcoat is completely gone
- left driver side bumper and quarter panel are dented with paint scraped off
- will need at least 2 new tires in any of the configurations of wheels
- steering wheel leather worn
- back panel of driver seat is in the trunk, but the fasteners are broken and need replacement
- the front bumper looks to have been bondo'd or plasti-welded or something.
- headlamp washers are pushed into the bumper

Prefer to sell to someone in the NJ area for ease of sale, but as long as you tow it I'm not picky.
I'm moving to Florida and need to get rid of as many cars as possible. I am also selling a 2002 X-type 3.0 with less than 45k miles, needs new coolant expansion tank. May sell together if the price and logistics are right.

Best offer will be considered. I am moving and need to downsize, but may still consider trades for cool stuff; cruiser motorcycles, audiophile equipment, guitars, etc. Make me an offer.

Just bumping this for a price adjustment as I don't know how to edit the original post.

Just send me an offer, just please be reasonable. At this point I just want to get rid of it and I don't want to see it junked because there are many good parts here and I don't have time to individually sell stuff.

I will include all 10 wheels as well. (4 - original 19", 2 - 20"x8.5" chrome coventry hornets, 2 - 20"x10" chrome coventry hornets, 2 - 18"x8.5" chrome coventry hornets)

No, sorry. I forgot that this post was here but the car and wheels have both been sold.
